Returns and Refunds
Contact Coastal Design Studio before returning any item. Returns sent without prior authorization may not be accepted.
Standard Furniture
Return requests for standard furniture must be submitted within 7 calendar days after delivery. Merchandise must be unused, undamaged, complete, and in its original packaging when available. Approved standard-furniture returns are subject to a 25% restocking fee. The customer is responsible for return transportation or freight and for the item until it is received by us.
Accessories and Décor
Unopened small accessories and décor may be requested for return within 14 calendar days after delivery. Items must be unused, undamaged, complete, and in their original packaging. The customer is responsible for return shipping.
Final Sale and Non-Returnable Items
Opened mattresses, bedding, and pillows are final sale. Custom and special-order merchandise, clearance merchandise, floor models, and any item identified as final sale are also final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged except where required by law.
Cancellations
An order may be cancelled without a cancellation fee within 24 hours of purchase if it has not been released to a supplier or fulfillment partner. After that point, actual nonrecoverable supplier and processing costs may be deducted, up to 25% of the order value. Orders that have shipped cannot be cancelled. A cancellation is not complete until Coastal Design Studio confirms it in writing.
Delivery Damage
Inspect your merchandise at delivery. Visible damage must be noted with the delivery team before they leave. Concealed damage must be reported within 48 hours after delivery with the order number and clear photographs of the item, packaging, and damage. Please retain the original packaging while a claim is reviewed.
Defects and Warranty Claims
Verified defects will be addressed through repair, replacement parts, product replacement, or the applicable manufacturer warranty, as appropriate. We may request photographs or an inspection before determining the remedy.
Return Process
1. Contact Coastal Design Studio with your order number, the item you wish to return, and the reason for the request.
2. Wait for written return authorization and return instructions.
3. Package the item securely and arrange approved return transportation.
4. After receipt and inspection, we will notify you whether the refund is approved.
Refunds
Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method, less any applicable restocking fee, return-freight cost, supplier cost, or other disclosed nonrefundable charge. Original shipping, delivery, and white-glove service fees are nonrefundable unless required by law or the return results from our error. Your bank or card issuer may require additional processing time after a refund is issued.
