Shipping and Delivery
Coastal Design Studio offers several fulfillment options depending on the product, destination, warehouse availability, and services required. Available methods and charges are shown at checkout when possible or confirmed by our team before fulfillment.
White-Glove Local Delivery
Eligible orders within our local Grays Harbor delivery area may receive white-glove delivery for a one-time fee of $250 per order, plus applicable tax. The fee covers as many purchased items as can safely fit on one delivery truck and includes in-home placement, assembly when required, and removal of packaging.
If an order requires an additional truck or a separate delivery trip, we will contact you with the additional charge before scheduling. Delivery appointments are scheduled with the customer after the merchandise is ready. Someone authorized to accept the order must be present.
Fast Shipping Available
Products identified as “Fast Shipping Available” may ship directly from the manufacturer’s warehouse to the customer. Availability, eligible destinations, delivery speed, carrier service, and cost vary by product and destination. The final delivery timing and applicable shipping charge are confirmed during checkout or order processing.
Fast shipping indicates expedited manufacturer-direct fulfillment; it does not guarantee a specific delivery date unless Coastal Design Studio confirms that date in writing.
Standard Freight Shipping
Products that are not eligible for manufacturer-direct fast shipping may be transported through standard freight service. Freight charges depend on the product, shipment size, destination, and required delivery service. When an accurate rate cannot be displayed at checkout, we will contact the customer with the freight charge and delivery details before releasing the order.
Standard freight delivery does not include in-home placement, assembly, packaging removal, stair carries, or other white-glove services unless those services are specifically included in the selected delivery method.
Free Local Pickup
Free pickup is available at our Ocean Shores location after the customer receives confirmation that the order is ready. Items physically stocked at the local warehouse are generally ready within 24 hours. Items not locally stocked become eligible for pickup only after they arrive at the Ocean Shores location and are processed; we generally send a readiness notice within 24 hours after arrival.
Please do not travel to the pickup location until you have received a ready-for-pickup confirmation. The person collecting the order should bring the order confirmation and valid identification. Customers are responsible for providing a suitable vehicle, securing the merchandise, and protecting it during transport.
Delivery Timing
Product and delivery estimates are not guaranteed dates. Timing may be affected by manufacturer availability, freight-carrier schedules, weather, access restrictions, and other circumstances outside our control. We will communicate material delays when updated information is available.
Delivery Access and Preparation
Before delivery, the customer is responsible for confirming that merchandise will fit through doors, hallways, elevators, stairways, and the intended room. The delivery route must be safe and clear. Additional labor, rescheduling, storage, return transportation, or redelivery charges caused by access problems, missed appointments, or an unprepared delivery area may be charged to the customer.
Inspection and Damage
Inspect all merchandise when it is delivered or collected. Visible damage or missing pieces must be noted with the delivery team or carrier before they leave. Concealed damage must be reported to Coastal Design Studio within 48 hours, together with the order number and clear photographs of the product, packaging, and damage. Please retain all packaging while a claim is reviewed.
Shipping and Delivery Fees
Original shipping, freight, delivery, white-glove, redelivery, and related service fees are nonrefundable after the service has been performed or the shipment has been released, except where required by law or when the charge results from our error.
